We have a cone, standing horizontally. A fluid enters to cone from the larger cross-section and makes centrifugal movement. Fluid moves towards small cross-section. At the small cross-section part we have to separate some particles from the fluid by centrifugal force. I would like to know that will the separation be more efficient if we have a smaller or larger cross-section at the end? or for example, is a cylinder more efficient or not? And how can we prove that? Thanks |
