I would like to know ,using what methode we can calculate the optimum thickness for a Spherical Formed Head which has drilled holes on it.The pressure should acting externally and some pressure drop should be there across the holes. In ASME SECTION VIII — DIVISION 1 ,UG-33 mention some calculation where external pressure is acting but it doesn't cover the pressure drop factor across it.If anyone have some idea how to reach optimum thickness and predict the pressure drop across it please share with me.if you have any questions please let me know.Awaiting for your valualbe thoughts. |
