Hello,
I am working on a design project and even though I recall coming across this, I can't seem to find any resources on it now. I am looking for a bearing that can jam/lock at high accelerations but rotate normally at low gradual acceleration. Is there such a bearing out there that I can buy?
Thanks!

no bearing is available in this type. If anyone made available this type of bearing, then it wouldn't live longer. Insteed u can use centrifugal friction clutch (seatbelt mechanism), which gives u required output with optimum realiability...

you should research eddy current damper technology. I think it will help you with what you are trying to achieve.
