will mixture of ethylene glycol and de-ionised water cause erosion or corrossion in AA 6061 , if it hw to avoi View All
i am using ethylene glycol and de-ionised water in 1:1 as a coolant for chassis , the chassis is made from AA 6061 alloy . I doubt that the coolant mixture can cause corrossion and pitting in it ,if its true how to overcome those problem, any coating similar to chromating which reduces the above problems. Last thing the chssiss will be made by Vaccum brazing technique and after brazing external surfaces will be Hard Anodised
