Water Pump Problem View All
Hello Friends,
I am facing water pump shaft damaged problem frequently, again and again water pump shaft get damaged from Pulley side due to loosen of Pulley. I ve done locking with allen bolt so that pulley should not come out and get loosen.but still the same problem is coming up.
Kindly advice me how to rectify the problem.?

I'm not sure hows your water pump looks like. Maybe the loosening is due to the vibration of the water pump when its start operate. Have you try to use some vibration resistance fastener like lock nut or washer to reduce the vibration so that I won't loose easily when you start to operate the water pump?

Yes I have used waser and lock nut on ouytside of shaft bso that pulley should not get loosen and come out.
Please tell me should i check the material of shaft and pulley?
and what type of metals should use for less friction wear between two metals.....
