Q&A

how can i obtain modular ratio and depth factor for a rcc member in working stress method? View All
i know the formulae for each, and i can use 5000*sqrt(char.strength) to find E of concrete but how do i obtain the maximum permissible stress for fe415(just as an example) used with M20 grade concrete especially since there can still be changes in the values of stress even considering stress-strain curve as linear. I know this is possibly a basic question but i just cant seem to get my head around it,any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you all
