There are a wide variety of types of drawings which could be classified as an engineering drawing. They include:

Sketches
Layouts
Part Drawing
Assembly Drawing
Exploded view
Patent Drawing

plus many others

Try searching on the phrase "engineering drawing types" using your favorite search engine to get more information on these and other types of engineering drawings.
