Common Engineering problems are readily solvable once they are recognized as being related to problems that have been solve repeatedly. It is very hard to be specific. The most common is a tendency for people to address symptoms of a problem instead of working to identify the root cause.

Failure to identify the root cause of a problem forces some one else to revisit the problem at a later date.
