Ever seen this type of retaining wall? View All
I have run across a retaining wall design that I have never seen before and wondering if you have ever seen or heard of this type of wall. I've included a photo.

As you can see this wall consists of precast concrete blocks. What you can not see are the vertical multi-strand cables that run between each block, 2 total. The cables are then secured to a piece of rebar strung along the top of the wall and the rebar is supported by cables run back further away from the wall. I am not sure how these cables are anchored. I am looking for any information about this type of wall.
