I follow a lot of industrial marketing gurus. Here’s a quick round up of my fave five:
Achinta Mitra – Calls himself a marketing engineer. Sounds like an oxymoron, but if you follow his blog Industrial Marketing Today, you’ll learn a lot about creating content for that audience.
Jon DiPietro –Jon’s blog is called Domesticating IT, but the points he raises apply equally well to marketers who need to reach any technical audience, including engineers.
Marketing Maven – Global Spec publishes some great stuff on industrial marketing to engineers and lots of it research based. They have a Linkedin group by the same name and you can find their main page on the Global Spec web site.
HubSpot – go here to keep up to date on the leading thoughts about inbound marketing. Most of these posts apply to B2B, and a lot of them apply to engineering marketing.
Internet Marketing podcast. These two UK guys, Andy White and Kelvin Newman, have produced well over 180 podcasts on all sorts of Internet marketing topics. While not all of the podcasts are relevant to B2B, there are so many podcasts that you can pick and choose what’s relevant to you. It’s a great way to keep current during your daily commute.
So, what did I miss? Who are your favorites?
