Can you effectively and economically use video to reach an engineering audience?
Here’s an interesting fact to ponder: the number of videos Brightcove (the leading private platform service) served grew 10X in 2010 and they are forecasting another 10X this year. Ciaran Rogers of Target Internet recently interviewed Luke Graydon from Brightcove, and gathered a few more facts and opinions.
Many Brightcove customers experienced a 40% or greater rise in their online sales through the use of video. Granted that these customers were consumer marketing companies, rather than companies that sell to engineers. Still, these are big numbers. What is the future of video in your marketing mix?
I forecast that as the price of video falls and the popularity rises, video will become the primary way we communicate with our prospects within 5 years. The early adopters will be able to build audiences that the laggards will envy.
